The campaign
World Animal Protection developed a campaign to promote Real Responsible Travel which raises awareness about the hidden cruelty many animals endure in the tourism industry.
It educates travelers about the suffering behind attractions like elephant rides, dolphin shows, and wildlife selfies.
Through social media, partnerships with travel companies, and advocacy, they encourage ethical tourism by promoting wildlife-friendly experiences. We helped expose cruel practices, urging tourists to avoid exploitative attractions and support sanctuaries that prioritise animal welfare.
The campaign also pressures the travel industry to remove unethical wildlife experiences from their offerings, aiming to shift demand toward responsible tourism worldwide.
